Since 2004: Coordinator of the international interuniversity cooperation agreement between the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, University of Firenze and the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina): Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Museo, & Facultad de CienciasAstronòmicas y Geofìsica, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, financed at the university local level for the years 2005 – 2007 and 2009 – 2011.

15 January 2009 – 14 January 2012: Grantholder of TEMPUS IV Joint Project 2008 on VICES Video Conferencing Educational Services with Ss Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje (MK). Consortium members were: the European University(MK), the Ss. Kliment Ohridski University(MK), the Goce Delcev University(MK), the SEE University (MK), the FON University(MK), the Ministry of Education and Science(MK). November 2004– October 2009: Coordinator of the national accreditation procedure of CRUI (Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities) for the Degree Course on Environment and Resources Engineering.

September 2005 – December 2008: Grantholder of the TEMPUS Joint European Project 2004DEREC – Development of Environmental and Resources Engineering Curriculum at the University SsCyril and Methodius, Skopje (MK), participating with the Faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technological and Metallurgical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering; further partners were the Macedonian Ministry of Education and Culture; the Communicational Sciences and Technology Faculty of South‑East European University of Tetovo (MK). EU Partners were: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR), Tecnische Universitaet Wien (A), Ruhr Universitaet Bochum (D).

August – September2007: Coordinator, of the Hydraulic Risk topic in the framework of the Intensive LLP – Lifelong Learning Programme Erasmus academic year 2007/2008, of the School of Engineering, Firenze University, on Environmental Risks due to Natural Hazards.

November 2004 – December 2006: national Scientific Responsible of a Research Unit for a “Scientific Project of National Relevant Interest” (PRIN) of the Italian Ministry of University and Research on Monitoring and control of sediments erosion and deposit for reservoirs capacity management.

In the period 2001 – 2004, in the frame of the activities for the National Group against Hydrogeological Disasters of the National Research Council (GNDCI – CNR), she has investigated the hydrological extreme events and the interaction between rivers and bridges. 2002: Local Coordinator of the research project “Guidelines to evaluate hydraulic risk connected with infrastructures”. 2003: National Coordinator of the project SIRIA: Informative System of Hydraulic Risk related to Crossing Infrastructures.

July 2004– October 2012: Vice Coordinator of the board of teachers of the PhD course in Methods and Technologies for the Environmental Monitoring of the University of Basilicata, which is carried out in co‑operation with the University of Firenze, University of Genoa and with Roma “La Sapienza” University (since XXI cycle).

September2003 – October 2004: Socrates/Erasmus Delegate for the degree course in Environmental and Resources Engineering.

2003- 2007: External Supervisor of the XVIII Cycle of the PhD “Geomatics and Geographical Information Systems” of the University of Trieste and of the XIX and XX Cycle of the PhD Course “Civil and Environmental Engineering” of the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Firenze.

In the three academic years 2001/2004: Coordinator of the 1st Level Master course, on “Hydraulic Risk”.

February 1998 – June 2001: Coordinator of the Italian partner activities, in collaboration with the Water Resources Research and Documentation Centre (WARREDOC) of Foreign University of Perugia, in the frame of the TEMPUS IB_JEP-13286-98, on “Decision Making for Flood Protection”, coordinated by Czech Technical University in Prague.
