The SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITIES, carried out both at national and international level, have been mainly developed in the field of hydraulic structures and hydrology: climate change impacts assessment on water resources and flood risk, eco-hydrology, environment monitoring and protection, definition of mitigation measures against hydrogeological disasters, regional frequency analysis of hydrological extremes, water resources and soil enhancement, hydraulic risk analyses related to infrastructures, hydro-sedimentological modelling and sediment routing simulations at watershed scale, higher education of engineers. Most of her notes and scientific communications, published on peer reviewed journals or presented at national and international conferences, are developed on these research topics
